Healthy Holiday dessert – Raw, Vegan Pecan Pie
This raw pecan pie recipe will quickly replace your favourite pie recipe. Raw and vegan and sweetened only with dates, this pie is every bit delicious and not in the least sinful. Go ahead and indulge!

Ingredients
For the base
- 90 g ground almonds
- 10 g raw cacao powder
- 3 pinches of salt
- 3 medjool dates
For the filling
- 105 g soy cream
- 2 medjool dates
- 80 g pecans
- A pinch of salt

Instructions
- Prepare the base. In a food processor blend the almonds, cacao powder, salt and dates until a homogenous dough form. Add a few tablespoons of warm water if necessary
- Press the dough into tartlet molds and let chill while you prepare the filling
- In a food processor blend the soy cream, dates and salt until smooth
- Pour the filling into each tartlet and garnish with the pecans
- Let set for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator before serving
